"~ME~{EAS the San Marco County Development Association, a non-profit organization composed of representatives from the San Mateo County Board of ~upervisors, City Councils, Chambers of Commerce~ California State Department of ~ployment, San Nateo County Superintendent of Schools, and San Nateo Central Labor Council, is vitally interested in securing a balanced economic development for San Nateo County; ~nd "~o th~ 'San Nateo County Development Association has strongly stressed the need for a com- prehensive economic survey of San Na%eo County an~ considers this to be of primary importance and a necessity in developing a program l'or t he balanced economic development of said county; and !~EREAS David D. Bohannon has generously offered to request the Urban Land Development Council to ~.o~duct an i~ediate comprehensive econondc survey of San ~ateo County; and ~'~EREAS David D. Bohannon has agreed to make the l'inancial expenditures necessary to bring a staff of techninians and a panel of nationally reco ~g8%'~zed experts who make up the Urban Land Council to San ~ateo C~nty, NO'~4 THEREFOPJ~, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said city that said city being fully aware of the need for a comprehensive economic survey of San }~ateo County, pledges its support in making avail- able necessary factual data as may be required by the Urban Land D~velopment Council in their forthcoming survey, and agrees to assist and cooperate in whatever way possible through its accredited technical re- presentatives and official family. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re~larly introduced and adopted by the City Council of t~e City of South San Francisco this 6th daF~oi' Octeber, 1952, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith Noes, Councilmen Nenm Absent, Councilmen ~ Noonan Attest: Arthur A.
