RESOLUTION AWAt{DI~G CONTRACT.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the 15th day of A~ril, 1954, publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed
proposals or bids for doing the work and improvement, and for the furnishing of all
materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the doing of said work and improvement
in said City~ described in Resolution of Intention No. 1987 of the City Council of said
City, adopted on the 15th day of March, 1954, which resolution of intention is hereby
expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvement and for all part-
iculars relative to the Droceedingsunder said resolution of intention,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that said city council hereby rejects
all of said orooosals or bids except that those herein mentioned and hereby awards the
contract(s) for doing said work and making said improvement and for the furnishing of
all materials, labor, and equioment necessary for the doing of sRid work or improvement
to the lowest resoonsible bidder(s), to wit: McGuire & Hester, Industrial Sewer Lines,
Associated Construction & Engineering Co., Pumps & Pumping Station at the prices named
in their bid(s) on file in the office of the city clerk.
BE IT FURTHI~R RESOLVED .that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract(s) with said successful bidder(s), after the City At-
torney of said City has received and approved of all bonds in connection with said con-
tract(s). Further, the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest to said con-
tract(s) by his signature and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adooted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
held on the 17th day of ~ay, 1954, by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Francis Lucchio,Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi, George
Bosworth.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
