HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2201-1955RESOLUTION NO. 2201 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .SOUTH SKH FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT PERMITTING THE SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGE COMPANY TO IRECT A BUILDING OVER A MUNICIPALLY OWNED SEWER EASEMENT OR RIGHT-OF-WAY. WHEREAS the city of South San Francisco possesses a license, easement, or right-of-way to use for sewerage purposes a strip of land ten feet (10') wide extending through the property of the San Francisco Bridge Company, a private corporation, from the South San Francisco-San Bruno Pump Station to the sewage treatment plant of said City; and WHEREAS said license, easement, or right-of-way, as aforesaid, will expire on May 1, 1958; and WHEREAS said San Francisco Bridge Company has heretofore indicated a willingness to extend said license, easement, or right-of-way fo~ a five (5)-year period from and after May 1, 1958; and WHEREAS said San Francisco Bridge Company has requested ~ermission to erect a building over a portion of said license, easement, or right-of-way, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilor said City that the San Francisco Bridge Company be, and it hereby Lo, grantddpormission to erect a builtding over a-portion of the aforementioned right-of-way presently containing a twenty-seven inch (27") force main and e~tending from~the South San Francisco-San Bruno Pump Station to the sewage treatment plant of said City, provided that the plans and specification of the building be first approved by the Director of Public Works of said City, and further provided that said San Francisco Bridge Company shall first execute and doliver to the City of South San Francisco an agreement protecting the'City in its sewerage installation in said license, easement, or right-of-way, and permitting said City' t6 use said license, easement, or right-of-way for a period of five (5) ~ears from and after the 1st day of Mmy, 1958. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 15th day of August, 1955, by the follOwing vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlon, Telford Smith.
