Purpose of the meeting:
1. Call to Order. Time: 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call. Present: Councilmembers Addiego, Gupta and
Normandy, Vice Mayor Garbarino and
Mayor Matsumoto.
Absent: None.
3. Public Comments — comments are limited to items on the Special Meeting
Agenda.
4. Consideration of City Selection Committee nominations for Association of Bay
Area Governments ( "ABAG ") and the Housing Endowment and Regional Trust
( "HEART ").
Councilmember Gupta was selected to fill the ABAG seat and Councilmember Normandy was
selected to fill the HEART seat.
Michael Harris, resident, spoke about former Mayor Gonzalez' involvement with the Water
Emergency Transportation Authority ( "WETA ") Board. He suggested Pedro be selected to serve on
the City's behalf if he was still amenable to public service.
Interim City Manager stated the item could not be discussed this evening as it was not on the agenda
but that it could be put on a future agenda.
Council consensus was to put the item on a future agenda to learn more about the process.

Being no further business, Mayor Matsumoto adjourned the meeting at 9:11 p.m.
