held ~onday September the 27th., 1920 at Z10 linden Ave.
The meeting was called to order at 8,10 O'clock P.~. by G.W.Holston , President of the
Bo~rd.
Roll Call.
Roll call found all Trustees present to-wit;-
F.A.Cunningham, A.J.Eschelbach, L.G.Hardy Jr., H.Scempini, Go~.Holston.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read end upon motion of Trustee Cunningham
seconded by Trustee Hardy and regularly carried w.ere approved.
A communication was received from Louis Nieri making application for the position of Truc~
Driver at the New City Hall. Laid over till a future meeting.
An application was received from G.¥enturi, caking for permission to build a garage in 1
fire limits, consistingof concrete floo~, end galvanized roof and sides. Permission denied on
account of fire ordinance restrictions.
The Eureka Fire Hose Department of Los Angeles wrote asking the Board to notify them
when the matter of purchesing additional fire hose would be taken up. Accepted and filed.
B.Nieri ,of the South S~n Francisco ~rniture Co. appeared before the Board and submitted
various s~mples of shades for the Board's consideration for the City Hall. The purchase of the
shades will be taken up at enother meeting.
AS oer advertisement the opening of bids for the lighting system of the Oity Hall was
declared by the President of the Board to be in order. Accordingly Trustee H~rdy moved that the
bids be opened. The motion Eas seconded by Trusteee Scampini and regularly carried.
The following bids were submitted$.companied by a certified check of 10 per cent of the
emount of the respective bids:-

The finance committee having approved the cleims Trustee ScamDini moved that the same be
paid. The motion was seconded by Trustee ~tardy and Hegular~ carried.
On motion of Trustee Cunningh~m seconded by Trustee Hard2L ~ the Board adjourned to meet
again at the next regular meeting l~onday October the 4th., 19£0 6t ~10 Linden Ave..
