'The minutes of the previous meetings were read and upon motion of Trustee ,iardy seconded b~
Rathe!bach/ a~.proved.3~ communication was received from the Avelon Club askiag permi[~sion to hold s dance at
Fraternal Hall Saturd~ evening Janu~:ry 29th, 1921. ?ermi~ sion granted.
A communication wes received from R.J.3urns 305 San Bruno [icad, applying for a license
to sell soft drinks at his ~lsce of business, Laid over till the next meeting,
Arthur Charles Johnson made application for the position of operator and driver in the
fire de?artment. Laid over.
Acommunicstion from EDgar :t. Lewis of the Service CarsMe stated that the two front tires
on the lire'truck are in a very poor condition, making it d~ngerous to operate and advised re-tiring
Communication accepted ~:nd the matter turned over to 1-he ~urch~sin~ co?mit, tea.
The reports of the Fire 2[arsh~] and City Clerk for the month ~f Dec were then read'and
Fire ~.iarshal Trua~ reported a fire at the ~merican °arium Works,durong the month. Damage
small.

they be pgid. The motion w~.;s seconded b7 Trustee hschelbach and regularly ~carried.
T~ere being no furvaer bus,incas Trustee ~unningh~m moved that the Board adjourn to meet
again i,'!onday, January ]Tth., 19El. I~ot~on seconded by Trustee Rathe!bach ~nd regu]~.rly carried.
