Ths meeting was called to order at 7.30p.m; by Trustee ~.~.Holston, ~residemt of

The followimg resolution wes introduced by Trustee Hardy;-
~hereas A.¥iacenzini, ~'ra~k ¥inconzimi, ~nd Lawrence ¥incenzini,the tenants of n.$aer~$$,
are operating a retail meat ~arket in a building situate on the land hereinafter described; and
whereas the floor of the room in which said re,ail mens market is operated is in the
process of decay and is not impermeable; ann
Whereas quantities of water have accumulated under said?floor and remain thereunder,
and grea~ numbers of rats are harbored under said floor; and
Whereas the condition of said floor and said premises is injurious $o public health and
is ~ public nuisance:
~esolved by the ~oard of Trustees of the ~ity of ~'outh ~an ~r~ncisco that the health office,
~' Of sat~ $ity be, ~nd he hereby is directed to notify said A.¥incen~ini,~'rznk ¥incenzini,
Lawrence vincenzini and H.Gaerdes to abate said nuisance and to construct a floor in said meat
market in accordance with the provisions of a certain act of the Legislature of the State of
~lifornia entitled "An ~ct providing for the sanitation of food-producing establishments,pisces
~,here food is stored, prepared, kept or manufactured znd in which food is distributed:
regulstin~ the health of persons by whom the materials from which food is prepared or the
finished product is hsndled;pro~iding for the inspection of such places, persons and things;
declaring places and things in violation of this act to be nuis~.ncos,dangerous to health ~nd
providing for the abatement of thz same: m~king violations of ~his act misdemeanors: ~nd providing
for the punishment of the same".
~he land hereinbefore mentioned is ~ll that certain lo~, piece or p~rcel of land situate
in the ~ity of oouth ~sn ~'rencisco, ~ounty og ~an ~ateo, State of ~elifornia, end psrticu2~rly
described as follows; to-wit:
The easterly one-h~fll/2~ of lot numbered ~hree ~Z) in ~lock numbered One Hundred
Thirty-nine ~139),es shown upon that certain m~p entitled "South san ~;rancisco, San ~Iateo ~o.,
~s~., Pl~t ~o. L" which m~p was filed in the office of the ~ounty zecorder of the oounty of S~n
~ateo,~elifornia, march l, 1892, ~nd recorded in mar book ~o. 2 at page ~2.
~e it further resolved that, in the event that said nuisance is not abated and ~ floor
constructed in s~id retai~ meat marketin accordance with the provisions of said act within
14 days ~fter the service of such notice by said Health officer,the ~ity Attorney is hereby
directed to bring ~n ection in the name of the people of the ~tate of ~alifornia in the ~uperior
~ourt of the ~t~te of ~alifornia, in and for the ~ounty of ~an ~ateo to abe. re said public
