eight o'clock p.m..

· ~oll call.found the following ~rustees present, to-wit:-

~he minutes of the ~revious meeiting were read ~nd upon motion of '~rustee ~wchelbach
seconded by ~rustee ~ardy and re?ularly carried were approved.
~.~ianella applied to the ooard for a reduction of his taxes onfurniture etc ~orm~rly
at the ~olden ~agle hotel. ~reeieent ~olston instructed hi~ to pay the tax under protest if he so
choosed, which would enable him to aDply for a rebate later.~
Night oolicaman n.M~Graw made application for an increase in salary. 9pon motion of
Trustee ~'Esch~lbach,seconded by ~'rustee Hardy and regularly carried his salary was rzised fr~m ~12~
to ¥1~0 per month.
An application ~or a soft drink license was made by D.S.Wright for ~308 ~rand Avenve,t.
succeed A.Bsradat.On motion of Trustee ~schelbach the application wa~ gr~nted b~ the following vote
Ayes,Trustees,A.J.Eschelbach, L.G.Hardy ~r.,~.Scampini,G.~.~olston

Absent, Trustee, F.~.Ounningham.
~auro Pierini petitioned the Board for a refund of ~7,20 tax money on aGDount of the
Soldier's Exemption law. Granted.
The city Clerk ~as instruct~d to notify the Pacific ~as ~ Electric ~o remove certain pole~
on the road between the Pacific ~o~st Steel Oo'plant and the Butler ~oad, known as Industrial Way.
Oity Engineer Geo A.Kneese submitted an estimate of the. work done bY harmon ~ Hickey o:
the storm water sewer amounting to ~411.1~.los~· ~5~ held for Z~ days, leaving a bal~.nce of ~2~8.~I
due this payment.
The following claims ~minst the city were neet presented fo~ payment.-

The finance committee having approved the claims Trustee ~ardy moved payment of the sa~
The motion was seconded by Trustee Scampini and regularly carried.
There being no further busines~ before the Board Trustee ~schelbsch moved to adjourn
until the next regular meeting l~onday ~ecember 5th, 1921, at eight o'clock P.M.
