An adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco was held in the city h~ll ~,:ond~y evening, February 28th,1927. The meeti~ was called to order at 7;~0 0'c'~ock p.m. b~ trustee F.A.Cunnin~ham, ~.r~d n . ~" ~ ~S' e t o£ the Board. ROLL CALL. Roll call lo,md the following trustees present,to-wit;- True, tees, Lloyd, ~inucciani, Tibbetts, Cunningham, Absent, Trustee A.J.Eschelbach. Trustee Eschelbach appezred after roll call. The minutes of the previous meeting were read, and there bei~'g no errors or omissions were approved as read. A co~nunication was received £rom Guy J,Roney, District Superintendent of Secondary School aski~g permi~.sion to install and maintain a One-Gallon L~ & F Pum~ and a 120 Gallon l~-Guage~Gasolin Storage Tank on the premises of the South San Francisco High School on Tamarack Avenue. Permit Gran N.Medeghini made request for the refund of taxe~ charged for a house on his lot the east 25' of lot SA and we~t 8-1/Z feet of lotZ~, block 82, cl~.imi~g the house ~'as destroyed by fire thre years ago. President Cunningham stated the house had been ~urned, and the claim w~s just. The clerk was instructed to refund the three year's ta~es. John Garcia, Secretary of the Chapultepec Society requested permission to hold a dance on Saturday evening Earch 26th next. Permit granted. The application of Maximo Lopez for a pool room license was denied. ' The application of A.J.Tacchi for a soft drink i~license for his pro~osed ice crea~ parlor and short order restaurant was granted by the unanimous vote of the board. This being the date set for the opening of bids for furnishing the city with 12 double f~.re hydrants it was decided to rejec~ all bids, and accordingly trust ee Lloyd in~.roduced a resolution rejecting all bids. The resolution was adopted by the vote of all ~he ~emb~rs of the board, to-wit, ayes, trust~es,Eschelbach, Lloyd, ilinucciani, Tibbetts, Cunningham. Noes,trustees,~on absent, trustees, none. At,est, Danie~ McS~eeney, City Clerk. Recorded in Book of Resolutions, vol 2, at page P~ESOLUTIOE 0RDERIi:G THE PURCH~YSE 0P FIRE HYDRANTS. Trustee ~inucciani introduced a resolution ?roviding for the Purchase of twelve'fire hydrants. The said fire hy~irants to conform to ~he specificat~.ons ~ow on file, and setting the date for the acceptance of sealed proposals ~t ?;ZO o'clock p.m. on ~onday, the Elst day of Earch,19£~. The resolutio~ was adopted by the unanimous vote of the members of the board, to-wit;- Ayes, Trustees, Eschelbach, Lloyd, Einucciani, Tibbetts, Cunningham. Noes, trustees, none. Absent, Trustees, None. Attest, Daniel McSweeney, City Clerk. Recorded in book of resolution, vol. £, at page ~2. Florence Terribelini was appointed a ~eputy CityEarshal by chief Bellone and the appointm~ confirmed by the board. The appointment carries no salary. There being no further business before the board Trustee Eschelbach ~ove~ to adjourn until the next regular meeting. The motion was seconded by trustee Ninucciani and regularly carried.
