A regularly adjourned meeting of Zhe city comucil of the City of South San Francisco was held in the City Hall Thursday evening, December 22nd, 1927. This meeting was called to order at 7;30 o'clock p.m. by Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, Mayor of South San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call found all members of the councilmen present, to-wit;- Councilmen A.Hynding, R.Ll~yd, M.Einucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. The minutes of the previous meeting ~ere read. There being no errors or omissions Councilman Lloyd moved they be adopted as read. The motion was seconded by Councilman l~[inucciani and re~ularly carried. A re~olution was introduce~ by Councilman H~mding providing for the acquisition and construc- tion of a fire alarm system in the City of South San Francisco, calling for bids for furnishing fire alar~ apparatus and equipment and the construction of a central ...... '~ Fire ~larm ~tation in : ' said city and setting the date, for opening such bids as 7;50 p.m., Monday, January 9th,1928. The resolution was ado',-~ted by the unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, M.I¥[inucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Noes, Councilmen, None. Absent, Councilmen, None Attest Daniel ~,tcSweeney City Clerk Recorded in Book of ResolutiOns, Vol 2, at page 159. Complete plans and s?ecificatio~s were filed with the City Clerk. Councilman Hynding then introduced a resolution providing for the sale of 19 fire alarm boxes and the Central Fire Alarm Station Apparatus and EqUipment now in use in the City of South San Francisc and calling for bids for the purchase of same to be opened on Monday, January 9th~,~928, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall ay 7;50 o'clo~k p.m. of said date. The resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all' the members of the council, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen. A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, Li.Minucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Noes, Co~mcilmen, None, Absent, Councilmen, None. Recorded in Book of Resolutions, Vo!.2, at page 160.. Attest . Daniel EcSweeney City Clerk The l~@ense agreement , for using the L~nergency Grounding Devise of Lewis Degan of Burlingame, California, was accepted by the Council and filed with the Citer Clerk. ~he Clerk was instructed to write the Marbelite Corporati~n of ~.nerica and inform them that ~ ': theElectr~ier just installed by them at Gran~ and Liaple Avenues iS over one foot higher than the other e~ctroliers in the city, and asking ,t. hat the defect be remedied. The clerk v/as also instructed to sen~th~,e, bill for the n~ew pillar to Geo.W.Kolston. ~ Councilman H~mdin.o ?ove~ that the floors of the city hall be ecraped and oiled and that Councill l~iinucciani be delegated to look after the world. The motion was seconded by, Councilman Tibbett~~ and regularly carried. Council:'an Hynding ne:.:t brought up the subject of water mains,",extension, and recommended that immediate steps be taken to proceed with the project. Mayor Eschelbach stated the recommendation was well taken, and instructed the city clerk to co~nmtmicate with the Railroad Commission and request that an audience be given the City of South. San Francisc~ at an ear~Ly date, and that the water company be furnished with a copy of the letter. Councilman ~,,iinucciani recommended that the city hall furniture be varnished.he was requested to get in touch with a company in this line of busi~ess and eecure figures as to cost etc. There being no further business Council~an Hynding L[ove~ to adjourn until Tuesday evening, December 27th, 1927 at 7;30 o'clock p.m. The motion was seconded by councilman~Lloyd and regularly carried.
