A regularly adjourned meeting of the Cit~? Council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the Citer Hall Wednesday evening, January 4tL,1928. , This meeting was called to order at 7;50 o'clock p.m. by Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, I,!ayor of South San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call fo~md all members of Th:~ city council present, to-wit,- Councilmen,A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, M.Minucciani, R,Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. The minutes of the previous meeting were read. There being no errors or omissions Councilma Zloyd moved they be ~dopted as read. The motion was seconded by Councilman Tibbe~ts and regularly carried. No co~::unications. The monthly re~orts of the Building Inspector and City Clerk were read, and on motion Councilman Hynding seconded by Councilman Lloyd and regularly carried were accepted as read. A deed from the South San Francisco Land & Im'?rovement 0ompany to the City of South San Fran for .48 hundreths of an acre of land on Swift Avenue in the Industrial District' for a site for the pro~osed new fire ho~se was submitted to thecm~.cilfor acceptance and approvel. A resolution was in~roduced by Com~citman Lloyd accepting the deed. The resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote all the membez~s of the Council, to-wit;- Ayes, Co~mcilmen, A.Hyndir~, R.Lloyd, M.Minucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Noes, Councilmen, None. Accordingly Council~.,an H[mding r.~ove~d that all city officers submit their n~onthly report~ On or~b the~third regula~ ~edting ~, of each month. The motion wias. seconded by Comncilman Lloyd and reg carried. ~ It was agreed by the council that the bond of the 'bu'ilding Inspector ~hould be placed at and the bond of the ~,/[unic~pal Judge at ~e;5000. But one claim against the city was submitted, that of A.Vannucci, for gasoline. On motion .by Co~zucilman H~mdiz~g seconded by. Councilman Lloyd and regularly carried the clai~ ~,;'a~' allowed in the sum of' $7.35. Accordingly Co~mcilnan H~din~ moved that the red-efts of all citer offVicers be submitted monthly to the council on or before the 2nd. regular meeting of each month. The m, otion was ~econde5 by Co:'~ncilman Lloyd and rogul~ly carried. It was agreed~ by the council that the bond of the builozno~' ~ inspe~tor be ~laced at ~j:1000 and that of the m~ici a! judge at :j:5000.
