A regularly adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the City gall Wednesday evening, Februmry 8th,1928. This meeting was called to o~der at ?;30 o'clock p.m. by ,Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, M~yor of South San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call found all members of the council present, to-wit;- Councilmen, A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, N.Minucciani, R.Tibbetts and A.J.Eschelbach. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. RESOLRTION AWARDING CONTRACT. A resolution awarding the contract-to the Pacific States Electric comlm~ny for furnishing cross- arms, wire, insulators and pole hardware for the~new fire alarm system, was introduced by'0ouncilman Minucciani and adopted by the unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen, A.Hynding, R,Lloyd, M.Minucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. A resolution awarding the contract ~o~ C.R.Beatty for the erection and installation of wire, cross-arms, insulators and pole hardware f~r the new fire alarm syst~mwas introduced by Councilman Tibbetts and was adopted by the unanimous vote Of all the members of the council, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen, A.Hynding, R,Lloyd, M,Minucciani. Councilman Hynding introduced a resclmtion re~ecting all proposals or bids for furnishing and installing an electric siren in the City of South San Francisco. The resolution was adopted by the uz unanimous vote of all the members o~ ~he City Council, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen, A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, M.Minucciani. R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Attest Daniel McSweeney City O~erk RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TNE PURCHASE 'OF FIRE ALARM APPARATUS. Councilman Tibbetts introduced a resolution awarding ~he contract to the Universal Tool and Manufacturing Company for the purchase ~f the present fire alarm boxes and fire alarm apparatus and equipment, The resolution was adopted by ~he unanimous vote of all the members of the council,to-wit; Ayes, Councilman,A.Hynding, R.Lloyd,M.Minucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. .Noes,~Oouncilmen, None. Attest Daniel Mo~w~eney- City Olerk A communication was received from Mrs. Caroline Holbrook applying for a position on the election board April 9th next. Application placed on file. ~ The police commission reported favorably upon the request of AL. Markgraf to run deuces in F~ate gall on Tuesday evenings, stipulating the permit would be for one month as a t~ial, and that proper Police .protection be maintained by Markgraf. The application for a soft drink license by A.R.Russo filed February 6th was reported upon favorably by the police commission, and the license ordered issued for the five month period at two dollars per month. There being no further business before the meeting Councilman Hynding moved to adjourn un~il the next regular meeting, Monday, Februar$ 20th,1928, at 7;~0 o'clock p.m. The motion was seconded by councilman Lloyd and regularly carried.
