South San Francisco was held ~n t~e Cit.~ Hall ~'~onday e~ening OctOber 7th,l~29. The meeting w~s called to order at ?~Jo oClock~ p. m. b~ Councilman A.J. Esohelb~ch, Ma2o~~ of South ~an Francisco. ~eetings The minutes of the previous'~ere read. There being no errors or omisslonm~Councilman Tibbetts moved they be a*opted as read. The motion was se conded by Councilm~n Hsnding and regularly carried. ~he Pacific Gas & Electric ~Jompan2 m~de application fo~~ permission to i~stall ~a six inch from t~ 2~ inch gas main of the natural g~s line. ~ermit gr~nted. A number of citizens,~and resideuSs ~,t!t~oned the Oitj Council for several lights to be ~lace~ on Bad~m Avenue Alley between Miller ~ Sprmce~f~enmes. Eeferred to Councilman Tibbetts. The Burlinga~e Flower and Oarde~ Cl'~b requested co-operation by asking the Can ~steo County Board of Super~isors ~nd other go~erning bodies to ~ssist in citric ~fsirs and requested that the Chrys~hem~m be me~.~ the offlcia~ flower of S~n Mateo Co unt~~. ~eferred to The C it:~ Attorney. ~-enr~~ Ba~er filed a protest ~gsinst the remo~el of ~he Armour Hotel to' lot No. ~0 on the San Bruno ~oad. Heferred to t~e f~re chief. John Colombo w~s refused rermission to construct ~ buildin~ on the rear of ~_is lot on Crsnd Avenue, st 2Al~ and requested ~ tear down wh~t he hs~ already constructed.
