This meeting was called to o~der..t ?;50 o'clock ~f~.rn. by councilman A.J.Eschelbach,
},,~ayor of South San Prancisco.
T,e reading of the minutes of tLe previous meeting was dispense.d with.
A com~n'anication was received from· Dr. Walter id. Dickie,Director of Public Health,
of the State of California, requesting the city o~ South San Francisco to send a representative
to a convention of the California Sewage Works ~oo ' , ,

Communication crafted filled.
· The application of E.~[iller for a-~,'.rmit to conduct boxing and wrestling matches in
this city v~'as taken up for consideration and on motion by 4ounce!man Hynding, seconded by Counci!n
Lloyd and regularly csrried permission was granted and a license ordered., issued for the period of
one ~ear under the ordinance covering box~.ug exhibitions. ~r. ~iiller was also granted a special l~e
to conduct exhibitions during the month of April,!gJ0.
O!aims in the amount of ~1896.77 were next submitted for payment. ~The finance
committee having audited the claims councilman l?nding moved they be paid as audited. The motion
was seconded by councilman Lloyd and regula~'ly .-:arried.
