A regularly adjourned meeting of the Cit~ Council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the City Hall Thursday evening, August ~:~lst'lgS0. This meeting was called to order at 7;SO o'clock p.m. by Councilman Joseph P.Quinlan,5~yor of South San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of tlc council present; to-wit;- Councilmen, V.Boido, I~i. Minucciani, R.Lloyd, Joseph P. Quinlan. Absent, Councilman, ~.Tibbetts. The minutes of the previous meeting were read. There being no errors or omissions they were approved as read. (Improvmnent District Plans and specifications for an outfall ~e'~ver system for"the southern section of the City of South San Francisco, the City of San Bruno, Lomita Park and contiguous territory from the E1 Camino to the bay, as adopted~by the'Board of ~SuperviSors of San ~.~teo County, were approved by the City · Council of this city by a resolution introduced by Councilman Boido , by the following vote;- Ayes, Oouncil~au,V.Boido,~.Minucciani,R.Lloyd, Joseph P.Quinlan. Hecor&ed in Book of Resolutions,Vol. 2, at pages Zll and ~t this time, 8;ZO P.~¥~.,the board took a ~,'~ecess.of ten minutes and reassembled at 8;40 o'cloc A resolution ~ndorsing the candidacy of D~.~.J.C.HcGovern £or the position of Co~oner of San Eateo County at the coming election,August 26, citing his many good and sterlin~· qualities, his patriotism in treating soldiers and the poor during the world war free o£ charge, etc, was introduce by Councilman Lloyd, and was adopted by the follm?ing vote;- Ayes, Councilmen, R.11oyd, ~.~inucciani, V.Boido, Joseph. Norton of the firm of Poster & ~leis~r ~ppeared before the council an& requested permissi t~ remove ~ sigr~ board from lot ~9,block ll~,~G~and Avenuefnear'Maple to the vicinity of Kau~fmann's Coalyard on Cypress Avenue between Grand and oaden Avenues. Permission granted. Claims in the amo~mt of $1646.59 were ne~t submitted to the council for payment. The claims having been audited by the finance conm~ittee Co-~ncilm~n Lloyd moved they be paid.
