A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of Bouth San Francisco
was held in the city hall, Wednesday evening, October £4th,19~.
This meeting vas called to order at 7;Z0 o'clock p;m. by Eayor R®ese Lloyd.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found the following members of the council present,as follows;-
Councilmen, Reese Lloyd, ~.Minucciani,R.Tibbetts, Jos ?.Quinlan.
Absent, Councilman, V.Boido.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
The principal business of the meeting being the consideration of the application
of Piombo Brothers &Oompany for permission to blas~ with explosives in Peck'$ Lots on
asked
Lewis Avenue, ~ayor Lloyd' the opinion of the City Attorney Coleberd relative te~the
responsibility of the bonding Company, The Massachusetts Bonding and Insurance Company,
in the case. The City Attorney stated he had not yet been shown the bond, and advised
the city to delay ~mtil the bond was received and the same properly accepted.
Owner Ed.C.~eck appeared before the council and requested permision to begin
operations other than blasting while waiting the city attorney's opinion. Permission was
granted, as was.~also permission to blast at any time before the next meeting of the city
council &g-~e-e$~2-a~e~ey if the city attorney approves the bond.
Labor claims in the sum of $~6.00 were next presented to the council for payment:-
Adolph Buehler, cleaning sewer $2J.00
Joe Galli " " $1~.00
Total
The claims having bee~ audited by the finance committee Councilman Tibbetts
moved they be paid. The motion was seconded by ~Cou~ilman Minucciani and regularl,¥
carried.
There being no further business Councilman Minucciani moved to adjourn until
~1onday evening, October Egth,19~4, at 7;~0 o'clock p.m.
