ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of the council,present,as follows;- Councilmen,V.Boido, A.J.Eschelbach, D.W.Ratto. Absent, Councilmen, M.~inucciani, J.F.~ager. The reading of the minutes of the previous meetin~ was dispensed with. RESOLD~IONS, AWARDING OF CONTRACTS. Councilman Eschelbach introduced a resolution of the City of South San Francisco awarding the contract for the construction of a Sanitary Sewer in South Industrial Area to Harvey E.Conner at the price named in his bid,namely $646.10. The resolution was adopted by the votes of all the members of the City Council present,as follows;- Ayes, Councilmen, V.Boido,A.J.Eschelbach, D.W. Ratto. Councilman Eschelbach introduced a resolution of the City of South San Francisco awardin~ the contract to La i~ar's '~arage for a Dodze truck at the price bamed in his bid,namel $1885.3~. Counci~uen Boido introduced a resolution of the City of South San Francisc~ approvi~ the initiative measure in which it is orooosed to add ~. new section to the Fish and Game Code of the State of California to be known as lll0. The measure prohibits operation in State water of fishing_ boats w~ich deliver fish,etc, to ~ooints be~ond State waters unless permitted by the Fish and Game Commission. A.B.Russo applied for a p~rmit to construct an addition of 9x12' to the rear o~ hi store,303 Grand Avenue for the convenience of Ladies f~ Gents.the estimated cost bein~ ~300. 0n motion by Councilman Eschelbach, seconded by Councilman Boido and re:.~ularly carried the desire permit was granted,under the suoervisfon of the Building Inspector. City Attorney Coleberd reoorted that the application of P.Castellano for a refund $5.00,paid for a ~asoline license recently, should be denied. Report Accepted~ and the clerk instructed to collect the new license from the new tenant, Councilman Eschelbach reported to the council that no light has yet been placed in Tamarack Lane,thou~l~ ordered in some months acc, and ashed the clerk to so notify the gas company. So ordered. In tl~e matter of the sanitary condition of the Firenze restaurant on the San Bruno who had been instructed to add another toilet to his establishment for the convenience of his patrons,City Attorney Coleberd stated he was investiMationg the s~tuation in conjunctiofl wit~ Buildin~ Inspector Welte. There bein~ no further business before the council,Councilman Eschelbach moved to adjourn. The motion was seaonded by Councilma~ 2oido and reo[ularly carrie~,.
