NOTICE OF SPEC]~AL MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISC0~
MARCH 23,193'7.
~Pursuant to call and waiver of notice of special meeting of the City Council or the City
of South San Francisco,of which the following~is a copy;-
The undersigned, the members of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, hereby
call a special meetimg of sai~ City Council to be held in the Council Chamber of said City
Council in the City Hall, in the City of South San Francisco,on Tuesday, the 23rd day of
March, 1937,at the hour of 8; o'clock p.m., for the purpose of considering and acting upon a
resolution to adopt mpecifications for drain pipe to be used in the construction of a drain
in Orange Avenue Park an~ through the right of way of the Valencia line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company in said City of South San Francisco; and for the purpose of
authorizing the exemution of an agreement between .~said city and Southern Pacific Company
for the construction, reconstruction, maintenance and operation of a reinforced concrete
pipe line near Baden Station, in said city; and we hereby waive no~ice of said special
meeting and consent to the transaction of such business thereat as may regularly come before
said City' Council~

The City Council of the City of South San ~rancisco assembled in ~pecial session
in the Council Chamber of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco in the City Hall
Tuesday, March 23rd,1~37. .
This meeting ~as called to order at 8 ; o'~clock p.m. by Mayor D.W.Ratto
~ ROLL CALL.
Roll call found the following members of the oouncL1 present, .....
Councilmen, A.J. Eschelbach, M.Minucciani, D.W.Ratto.
Absent, Councilmen, Victor Boido and John F.Mage~.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
Councilman E~nhelbach introduced a ~esolution of the City~00uxict[~.adoph~ng'!..ePecificatin$ for the wo
in South San Francisco,ordering the pumchase of sewer'~ pipe for a drain for Orange Avenue Park
in the City of Soutk San Francisco,and calling for notice inviting sealed proposals for
furnishing reinforced concrete drain pipe to the City of South San Francisco for the construc-
tion of a reinforced concrete drain pipe in and for Orange Avenue Park in said city.
This notice calls for s~ated bids or proposals to be received by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco until 8;o'clock p.rm., on Monday, the 5th day of April,1937.
The resolutiom was adopted by the votes of the-follewing members of the City Council,;
Ayes, Councilmen, A.J.Eschelbach, M.Minucciani~ D.W.Ratto.
Noes, Councilmen, none. -~
Absent,Councilmen, John F.Mager~ and Victor Boido. Attest Daniel McSweene~

Councilman Minucciani introduced a resolution of the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco authorizing the execution of an agreement wit~ Southern Pacific Company
for construction of a drain through Valencia line.
The resolution was adopted by the votes of the following named councilmen;
Ayes, Councilmen, A.J.Eschelbach, M.Minucciani, D.W.Ratto.
Noes,~Councilmen, None. ·
Absent, Councilmen, John F. Mager, Victor Bo~do~ Attest- Daniel McSweeney

Southern Pacific Company submitted in duplicate their agreement permitting the City of
South San Francisco to pass their Valencia line at a point n~ar Baden Station, to be signed by
the Mayor and Clerk ~nd forwarded to Southern Pacific Company.
There being no further business before the council Councilman Minucciani moved ~o adJourr_.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Eschelbach and regularly carried.
