A regularly-adjourned meeting-of the City Council of the City of South ~an Francisco was held in the city hall, Wednesday morning, July 19,1939. This meeting was called to order at l0 o'clock A.M. by Mayor A.J,Eschelbach. ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of the city council present, as follows;- V.Boido,A.J,Eschelbach, D.W. Ratto, Rod Tibbetts. Absent, CoUncilman,M.Minucciani. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. The application of Walter A.Lawrence, 400 Dolores Street,San Francisco,for permission Jo construct a dwelling on lots 4§,46,47 amd 48, in Block 8,Town of Baden,provided' he is givel oermission to keep a pet horse on the premises, was~taken up. Councilman Ratto vouched for ~r. Lawrence, said he appeared a good and respectable man, wh6 would build a very good~buildin~ and stable for a pet horse. He stated the horse is a prize winner, has medals, ribbons,otc, fol ~,erit. 6ouncilm~n Boido said all the city wanted was that the place be kept.in a sanita~ and up to date structure, so that no complaints could be made by citizens in the tract. Councilman Tihbetts moved that a pern~it be given ~r. Lawrence. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ratto and regu~la~ly carried. The city clerk was instructed to ad~ise the recreation department to secure a list of zll tools and materials furnished t~',e department and t~Le costs, since the beginning. There being no further business before the board C~ouncilman Tibbetts moved to adjourn until Monday, August 7,1939,at 8 o'clock P.M. The motion was seconded by Councilman Botdo and regularly carried.
