CALL A~q] ~IAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL ~,~ETI~G OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAhTCISCO.
The undersigned being all the members of the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, hereby call a special meeting of said City Council to be helm in the council
chambers of Said City Council, in the City Hall of said City, on Tuesday, February 28,
1950, at.t~,e hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. for the purpose of considering and acting upon
the question of rejecting v~illiam Theodore Greenfield as an employee of the City of
South San Francisco, Under. the provisions of the ?ersornnel ~ules and Regulations of ~he
City of South San Francisco. We hereby waive notice of said meeting and consent to the
transaction thereat of any asd all such business as may regulagly come before said m~eting.

8:00 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 8710 p.m.
P~esent: Councilmen Victor Boido, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
Absent: Councilman Chas. K. Eider.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
Communication was received from Supt. of Streets }!enry L. Schweining recommending that
';i!liam Theodore greenfield, Utility Man on the Street Department, not be retained
beyond his probationary period; also a communication from Supt. of Streets Schweining
setting forth 3 automobile accidents in which Vi]liam Theodore Cree~field had been
involved within the last 9 months.
Councilman Sani moved that the reco~m,endaclon of the Superintendent of Streets be
accepted. This motion was seconded by Councilman Boido and ~s carried by t~e
following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Sani and Boido; ~oes, Councilman Cortesi;
Absent, Councilman Elder.
Councilman Sani moved that ~'~illism Theodore Greenfield be rejected as a city employee
of the City of South San Francisco, as set forth ur~der Section ~ of Rule IX of the
Personnel Rules and Re~lations. This motion was seconded by CounciLq~n ~-oido and was
carried by the follow,lng vote: Ayes, Councilmen Sani and Boido; Noes, Councilman
Cortesi; AOsent, Councilman Elder.
ADJOL~N~NT:
On motion of Council~nan Sani, seconded by Councilman Boido apd regularly carried the
meeting was adjourned to Hatch 6th, 1950 at 8 o'clock p.m.
