The meeting was called to order at ;+:10 p. m. by Mayor Sani.
The reading of the minutes was dispensed with.
RESOLUTION NO. 160;+
RENT CONTROL:
Counci,lman Bracco introduced a resolution .~erm~n&ting.rent~.cOnt~o[ in,,the City~:~f
S~uthtSan~N~ancisco. This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all
members of the council.
RESOLUTION NO. 1605
DISASTH2~ COUNCIL:
Councilman Cortesi introduced a resolution approving agreement with t he California
Disaster and Civil Defense Council. This resolution was adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all members of the council.
BUSINESS LIC~qSE ORD.
An ordinance amending Business License Ordinance No. 261 was introduced and on
motion of Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Boido and regularly carried,
was read by title-"AN ORDINANCE AM~qDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 CF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LIC~qSING OF BUSINESS,
PROFESSIONS, TRADES, C~LINGS AND OCCUPATIONS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO",
ADOPTED FEBRUARY 2;+, 19;+7". This was considered as the first reading of the
ordinance.
LIDDELL BUSINESS LICENSE:Ruby Liddell being present,
ADJOU~24MENT:
her application for a business license was taken up.
She explained in detail what she desired and how her business was handled.
After a lengthy discussion, Councilman Elder moved, seconded by Counci~w~n Boido,
that this matter be laid over to the meeting of December 18th. This motion was
regularly carried.
O~ metion of Councilman Bracco, seconded by Councilman Elder and regularly
carried, the meeting was adjoumaed to Dec~aber 18, 1950 at 8 p. m.
