HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 1952-08-14120 C 0NSENT TO SPEC IAL MEETING WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, being the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of South San Francisco, do hereby consent to the holding of a special meeting of the City Council of said city at the hour of 2:30 p. m. on Thursday, August 14~ 1952, for the purpose of considering the application of APJ~0LD ABRAMS, BET2Y MITTER, HAL HOCKINGS, and others on behalf of TOWN HALL ASSOCIATES, a local service club~ for permission to use the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said city for the purpose of conducting therein a meeting open to the public and concerning a matter of general public interest, relative to the organizing of a Junior Chamber of Co~.-~rce as a local service club. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 2:30 p. m. by Mayor Cortesi. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen John Noonau, Adolph Saul, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith USE OF COUNCIL CHAMBERS: Special meeting held for the purpose of considering the application of Arnold Abrams, Betty Mitter, Hal Hockings and others iu behalf of Town Hall Associates, a local service club, for permission to use the Council Chambers to conduct a meeting on the evening of August 14~ 1952.
