The meeting was called to order by Mayor Rozzi at 3:52 p.m.
Present: Mayor G. Jo Rozzi, Councilmen Leo J. Ryan and Francis Lucchio.
Absent: Councilmen Andrew Rocca and Emilio Cortesi.

ADJOURNMENT:
The special meeting having been called to consider the request of Utah Con-
struction Company for a permit to conduct blasting operations in South San
Francisco Industrial Park Unit #3, Mayor Rozzi asked as to the pleasure of
the Council in this regard. Prior to Council motion, City Clerk Rodondi
stated that Councilman Rocca requested that the Council be informed that pro
vided adequate insurance policies were placed on file and that the blasting
be conducted under the supervision of competent blasting experts with the
notification being made to the Director of Public Works office prior to each
blast, that was to take place, he had no objections to the approval of this
request. Councilman Lucchio then moved, seconded by Councilman Ryan and reg
larly carried, that the permit be granted under the usual existing condition~
that adequate insurance coverage be placed on file and that the blasting be
supervised by the office of the Director of Public Works and be carried on
by competent blasting experts.
Councilman Ryan then moved, seconded by Councilman Lucchio and regularly
carried~ that the meeting be adjourned.
