ADJOURNMENT: RfSPECTFULLY SUBMITTED, k 4:30 p.m. Conference Room, City Hail. Mayor Ahem called the adjourned regular meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. Present: Absent: Councilmen Patrick E. Ahem, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, and Warren Steinkamp Councilman F. Frank Mammini. City Manager McKenzie briefly explained the Memorandum of Understanding with Local 1569, AFSCME, AFL-CIO after which Councilman Borba moved, seconded by Councilman Bertucelli and regularly carried that the Memorandum of Understanding with Local 1569 be accepted. City Manager McKenzie then explained the Memorandum of Understanding with Local 1507 Federated Fire Fighters, after which Councilman Bertucelli moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and regularly carried that the Memorandum of Understanding with Local 1507 be accepted. City Manager McKenzie at this time expressed his thanks to ali of the employee groups for the courtesy extended to him during the wage negotiation sessions; likewise express~- ing his thanks to Mayor Ahem and members of the City Gouncii for their generosity towards the empIoyees again this year. Discussion then followed concerning the matter of the City Manager's salary for the coming year followed~bY discussion concerning comparisons with other cities and depart- ments within the City and there being no objections, the members of the City Council agreed to a salary for the City Manager in the amount of $25,000 per annum. There being nothing further, Councilman Steinkamp moved, seconded by Councilman Bertucelli and regularly carried, that the meeting be adjourned to Tuesday, September 8~ 1970.
