NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Government Code of the State of California, of a special
meeting called for Wednesday, November 11, 1970, at 7:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San
Francisco, California
The purpose of the meeting is to receive, consider, and vote on the fol low,lng matters:

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ahern at 7:56 p.m.

Absent:
Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba,
F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp
None
City Attorney Noonan stated that the City Council could adjourn to an Executive Session
in order that it might instruct the City Attorney and City Manager concerning consider-
ation to the purchase of a parcel of real property without the disclosure of sale price
in order that the sale would not be jeopardized.
There being no objections, Mayor Ahern then recessed themeeting at 7:58 p.m.
Mayor Ahern recalled the meeting to order at 8:12 p.m., at which time City Attorney
Noonan suggested that the Minute entry show that the action taken is that the Council
instructed the City Manager and City Attorney regarding acquisition of a parcel of
property and after that Minute entry, it is in order for Council to adjourn the Special
meeting and reconvene the Study agenda for the purpose of those in attendance and the
press, it was necessary to receive this authorization to protect City's interests, not
a controversial matter, but is legal significance and full record available.
Councilman Steinkamp so moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and regularly carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:14 p.m.
