Mayor Borba cai led the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. Present: Absent: Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp None City Attorney Noonan explained the first resolution which was ready for Council's action after which Councilman Bertucelli introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES IN THE WEST PARK PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72." Discussion then followed at which time Mr. Donald Gamma, 3790 Cork Place, questioned the increase in the amount of revenue required, commenting that it was his feeling that since the area had been landscaped for some time, the maintenance cost should be less. It was pointed out that the City had no control over what a contractor would charge inasmuch as bids were called for in this regard; also that there had been vandalism which increased the cost due to repairs as well as the need to shape the growth of certain planting which had added to the amount. Mr. Gamma then requested that in future deliberations concerning the amount of revenue required and tax rate, that the City Manager's office and Recreation and Park Department notify the representatives from the West Park area concerning any call for bids and budgets to be adopted prior to finalizing in order that they would be able to review the information and offer their suggestions and comments. Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahem, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren STeinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. After an explanation by City Attorney Noonan, Councilman Steinkamp introduced the reso- lution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 - WEST PARK PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT." Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. The third resolution was explained bv the City Attorney and the meeting which had been held with the J. H. Snyder representatives, the methods and amounts of money that were to be raised and the participation by the develoDer in this regard. It was likewise suggested that the developer, in discussing the sales of his homes with preospective buyers, in- form them concerning the additional tax levy to maintain the Cordon Greens. Discussion also followed concerning the City's acceptance of the Common Greens after which Councilman Steinkamp introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE REOUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES IN THE WEST PARK 3 PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72.'? Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. City Attorney Noonan explained the next resolution after which Councilman Bertucelli introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES IN THE STONEGATE RIDGE PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72." Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren STeinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. The next resolution was explained by City Attorney Noonan after which Councilman Steinkamp introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 STONEGATE RIDGE PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT." City Attorney Noonan explained the next resolution after which Councilman STeinkamp introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 - WILLOW GARDENS PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT." Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, F. Frank Mammini, William A. Borba and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. City Attorney Noonan briefly explained the next resolution concerning the Housing Authority's application for housing development after which Councilman Bertucelli introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATON FOR LOW-RENT PUBLIC HOUSING," reading a portion of the resolut~n as it affected this program. Councilman Steinkamp suggested that provisions be made for the roadway between and "C" Streets to service the school property at which time it was pointed out that this was oart of the program. Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none.
