IND. PARK UNIT NO. 3: RESO. NO. 6017 IN MEMORY OF PRESIDENT LYNDON JOHNSON: 8:00 p.m. Council Chambers, City Hall. Mayor Frank Mammlnl called the meeting ,o order at 8:05 p.m. Mayor Mammlni announced that before starting the meeting, in memory of Councilman Cordon T. Boblitt, there would be no Good and Welfare. He requested instead, that words and statements which would have been made in behalf of Councilman Boblltt, be forwarded to the City In written form In order that they may be permanently documented. The Pledge of Alleglance to the Flag was recited. The Invocation was given by Reverend R. Eugema Linemen, Chairman of South San Francisco Ministerial Association, Pastor of Hillside Church of God. Present: Absent: Councilmen Patrick E. Ahem, William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammtni and Warren Steinkamp None Mayor Mammlni asked if there was a motion approving the Minutes of the adjourned regalar meeting of January I0, 1973; regular meeting of January 15, 1973; and special meeting of January 19, 1975. Councilman Borba moved, seconded by Councilman Steinkamp and regularly carried, that the Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of January I0, 1973; regular meeting of January 15, 1973; and special meeting of January 19, 1973 be approved as submitted. Councilman Mammlni abstained from voting,;:stating that he was not present at these meetings. Mayor Mamelnl asked If there was a motion approving the regular claims as submitted. Councilman Steinkamp moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and regu- larly carried, that the regular claims, totaling $119,452.22, be approved for payment. Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park, Unit No. 3 Claim: Wllsey & Ham claim dated January 24, 1973 in the amount of $233.39 for Engineering Services. Councilman Ahem moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and regularly carried, that the claimas submitted for Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park, Unit No. 3, be approved for payment. Councilman Borba Introduced the resolution expressing sympathy to the Family of President Lyndon B. Johnson, deceased, entitled: RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF PRESIDENT LYNDON B. JOHNSON, DECEASED." Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Willlam A. Borba, F. Frank Mammlnl and Warren Stelnkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. RESO. NO. 6018 IN MEMORY OF COUNC I LMAN GORDON BOBL ITT: 0 Expressing his sorrow, Councilman Stelnkamp introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION IN HEMORY OF COUNCILMAN GORDON BOBLITT." Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, William B. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none. Mayor Mamminl at this time stated that he did not have the words with which to express the loss of Councilman Gordon Boblitt to the City, stating that he was a dedicated servant to the City of South San Francisco, as well as his personal frlend. He further remarked that Councilman Boblitt started a new era and hoped that it would not end with his death. RECESS REQUEST Councilman Stelnkamp requested that the City Council recess to an TO EXECUTIVE Executive Personnel session to begin the necessary arrangements PERSONNEL SESSION for the replacement of Councilman Boblltt. RECESS: - Mayor Mammini recessed the meeting at 8:16 p.m. RECALL TO ORDER: Mayor Mammini recalled the meeting to order at 8:25 p.m,, with all Council present. COUNCIL TO HOLD Mayor Mammlnl announced that Council had agreed to a meeting to be MEETING ON held at 7:30 p.m. on February 12, 1975 in order that discussions 2/12/75 7:50 P.~ might be held with filling the Vacancy caused by the death of TO DISCUSS SEAT Councilman Boblitt. VACANCY: Mayor Mammlni at this time requested Reverend Linamen to give the -~/5~ Benedlction. BENEDICTION: Reverend Linamen quoted from a recent experience. ",hat the work is not ended ye,."
