CALL TO ORDER: . Mayor Mammini called the meeting to order at 11:12 a.m.

ADJOURNMENT:
Councll~n Ahem asked if proper notice had been given for the
adjournment of the special meeting to which City Attorney Noonan
recited the steps which had been taken pursuant to the Government
Code provisions in order for the City to comply.
RESO. NO. 6040 The first item was the Inter-Office Memorandum dated January 31,

WASTEWATER of bids and recommendation for award of contract - SSF/SB WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT UNIT NO. I.

~O~l Accompanying was the letter dated January 26, 1973 from Jenks &
Adamson submitting recommendation for award of contract,
City Attorney Noonan explained the first resolution and stated that
bids were declared and had been forwarded to the Federal and Sta,e
agencies and approval had been received and the resolution was now
ready for introduction and adoption,
Discussion followed among members of the Clty Council concerning
the matter having been scheduled for the meet{ng of March 5, 1973
and the meeting not havi.ng been held.
After discussion, Mayor Mammlni stated that he would request an
Executlve Personnel session at the conclusion of this meeting.
Councilman Steinkamp introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESO-
LUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT PROJECT UNIT NO.I, WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT IMPROVEMENTS (1972)."
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern,
William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp, Noes, none.
Absent, none.
RESO. NO. 6041 The Inter-Office Memorandum dated January 31, 1973 from Director of

City Attorney Noonan explained the resolution after which Councilman
Steinkamp introduced the resolution entitled: 'A RESOLUTION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT PROJECT UNIT NO. 2, OUTFALL FORCE MAIN (1972)."
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern,
William A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, none.
RESO. NO. 6042 The next item was the Inter-Office Memorandum dated January 31, 1973
AWARD OF CONI~ACT from the Director of Ecological Development submitting compilation of
PROJECT UNIT 3 bids and recommendation for award of contract - SSF/SB WASTEWATER
SUBMARINE OUT- MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT UNIT NO. 3 (SUBMARINE OUTFALL).

After an explanation by City Attorney Noonan, Councilman Steinkamp
introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF
CONTPj~CT PROJECT UNIT NO, 3, SUBMARINE OUTFALL (1972),'
Brief discussion followed and explanation by Director of Ecological
Development Hull and representative from Jenks & Adamson concerning
the installation of the outfal] line,
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen PatriCk E. Ahern,
Wlllla~A. Borba, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp, Noes, none.
Absent, none,
RECESS:
Mayor Mammini declared a'recess at 11:35 a.m. for an Executive Per-
sonnel session,
RECALL TO ORDER: The ~eting was recalled to order at 12:14 p.m. with all Council present.
ADJOURNMENT:~There being nothing further, Mayor Mammini adjourn~the meeting at
12:15 p.m.
