ELECTION
RESULTS:
8:00 p.m.
Little Theater, Et Camino High School.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Warren Steinkamp
at 8:15 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.

Absent:
Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, William A. Borba,
F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp
None
Mayor Pro Tem Steinkamp explained that the Council meets tonight
in compliance with the Elections Code and Governn~nt Code of the
State of California to adopt the resolution declaring results
of the election.
City Clerk Rodondi at this time stated that, in addition to the
semi-official canvass of record of votes cast at the polling precincts
made in his office on the evening of the Special Election, a canvass was
made by the County Clerk when the voting machines were returned to the
warehouse, reading the Certificate of the County Clerk. The City Clerk
stated that it would now be in order for the Council to adopt the
resolution canvassing these returns,
Councilman Ahern introduced the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON MAY 22, 1973."
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern,
William A. Borba, F. Frank Mamminl and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, none.
City Clerk Rodondi then recorded the Statement of the Results as re-
quired by Section 22933 of the Elections Code: A. The whole number
of votes cast in the City; B. The Names of the persons voted for;
C. For what office each person was voted for; D. The number of
votes given at each precinct to each person. E. The number of votes
given in the City to each person which is set forth as follows and also
set forth in Resolution No. 6091 which is incorporated hereinby
