The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mirri at
5:30 PM.
Present:
Absent:
Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, Terry J. Mirri,
and Warren Steinkamp.
Councilmen F. Frank Mammini and Leo Padreddii.
Pledge of Allegiance to Flag was recited.
The first item for consideration was the Public Hearing
on the proposed alteration of boundaries of West Park No.
and Parkways Maintenance District, Annexation 1974-1.
The Mayor declared the Public Hearing opened asking if
there was anyone present who wished to register a protest.
There being no one or written protests the Mayor declared
the Public Hearing closed.
Councilman Steinkamp introduced a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO WEST
PARK UNIT NO. 3 PARKS AND PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
ANNEXATION NO. 1974-1.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, Terry J. Mirri, and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen F. Frank Mammini and Leo Padreddii.
The next item for Council consideration concerned the sub-
stitution of contractor to perform the piping and refrigera-
tion work in the Library and City Hall Air Conditioning,
Heating and Modifications (Project PB-73-3).
After an explanation by the City Engineer Councilman Steinkamp
moved, seconded by Councilman Battaglia and regularly
carried that the City allow the Valley Sheet Metal, prime
contractor, to substitute William Minucciani Plumbing
in lieu of Fulcher Plumbing.

ADJOURNMENT
The next item concerned the adoption of a resolution approving
and implementing Affirmative Action Plan for the City.
After an explanation by the City Manager and discussion,
Councilman Steinkamp introduced a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND IMPLEMENTING AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, Terry J. Mirri and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen F. Frank Mammini and Leo Padreddii.
After an explanation by the City Manager for the absence of
Councilmen F. Frank Mammini and Leo Padreddii, Mayor
Mirri adjourned the meeting at 5:45 PM.
