NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Government Code of the State
of California, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco will
hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, the 18th day of March, 1975, at 7:30 PM in
the West Orange Avenue Library Auditorium, 840 West Orange Avenue, South
San Francisco, California.
The purpose of the meeting is: Installation of Mayor Elect Richard A.
Battaglia and Mayor Pro Tem Elect Leo Padreddii.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 18, 1975
7:30 PM.
West Orange Avenue Library Auditorium.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mirri at 7:40 PM.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F, Frank Mammini,
Terry J. Mirri, Leo Padreddii and Warren Steinkamp.
Absent: None.
Mayor Mirri explained the purpose of tonight's Special
Meeting after which he commented on his term as Mayor,
the projects completed and expressed his thanks for the
cooperation received from his fellow Council members,
Staff, public and the press.
Mayor Mirri then called on the City Clerk to administer
the oath of office to Mayor Elect Battaglia and Mayor
Pro Tem Elect Padreddii.
The oaths of office were then administered by the
City Clerk.
Following the new seating arrangements by Mayor Battaglia
he expressed his thanks to his fellow Council members
for their confidence in electing him as Mayor. He
likewise expressed his thanks to the voters for electing
him as a member of the City Council. Mayor Battaglia
concluded by introducing his family.
Mayor Pro Tem Padreddii expressed his appreciation to
those who attended tonight's installation requesting they
attend other meetings of the Council.

ADJOURNMENT
Prior to adjournment Mayor Battaglia announced that on
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM he would
be in his office at City Hall.
He also suggested that the residents of the City become
involved.
The meeting was then adjourned by Mayor Battaglia at
8:00 PM.
