HELD TUESDAY, JULY 8, 1975

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Battaglia
at 5:21 PM.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F. Frank
Mammini , Warren Steinkamp.
Absent: Councilmen Terry J. Mirri, Leo Padreddii.
RESO. NO. 95-75
MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING
UNITS 3 AND 4
Assistant to the City Manager, Mike Wilson, explained
the contents of the memorandum followed by brief discussion.
After discussion Councilman Steinkamp introduced a
resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, UNITS 3 AND 4 - THE SOUTH
SAN'FRANCISCO CITY EMPLOYEES JOINT COUNCIL (MARINE ENGINEERS
BENEFICIAL ASSOCIATION AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE,
COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, LOCAL 1569, COUNCIL 57,
AFL-CIO) - JULY 1, 1975 - JUNE 30, 1977.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii.
RESO. NO. 96-75 After a brief explanation by the Assistant to the City
CITY CLERK COMPENSATION Manager, Mike Wilson, on both parts of this resolution
AND BENEFITS & CITY Councilman Steinkamp introduced a resolution entitled:
COUNCIL HEALTH BENEFITS A RESOLUTION DETERMINING COMPENSATION AND OTHER BENEFITS
FOR THE CITY CLERK AND HEALTH AND WELFARE BENEFITS FOR
THE CITY COUNCIL (7/1/75-6/30/78).
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii.
The Assistant to the City Manager, Mike Wilson, requested
an Executive Personnel Session upon the completion of items
this evening.
BUS ROUTES
The City Manager at this time brought up the matter of
bus routes within the City requesting a Special Meeting
be scheduled prior to the Regular Meeting of Wednesday,
July 16, 1975. There being no objections Mayor Battaglia
scheduled the Special Study Meeting for Monday, July 14, 1975
at 7:30 PM.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Battaglia recessed the meeting at 5:30 PM to an
Executive Personnel Session.
Councilman Padreddii appeared present at 5:32 PM.
The meeting was recalled to order by Mayor Battaglia
at 6:15 PM with all Council present. Absent, Councilman
Mirri.
Mayor Battaglia announced that the purpose of the Executive
Personnel Session was to instruct staff on labor negotiations.
After a brief explanation by Assistant to the City Manager,
Mike Wilson, Councilman Steinkamp introduced a resolution
entitled: A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT 1-75 TO
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, UNIT 8 - CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES,
JULY 1, 1975 - JUNE 30, 1977.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini, Leo Padreddii, and Warren
Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman Terry J. Mirri.
There being nothing further to come before Council, Mayor
Battaglia adjourned the meeting at 6:16 PM.
