ROLL CALL: RESO. NO. 195-75 CANCELLING PROCEDURES FOR TERMINATION OF SOCIAL SECURITY SPHERE OF INFLUENCE STUDY BY LAFCO ~;l&J USE OF SKATE BOARDS 6-/03 5:30 PM. Council Conference Room, City Hall. The meeting was called to Order by Mayor Battaglia at 5:45 PM. Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini, Leo Padreddii. Absent: Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Warren Steinkamp. Staff Report, from the Assistant Personnel Officer recom- mending that Council adopt a resolution rescinding Resolution No. 6200. After a brief explanation by the City Manager, Councilman Padreddii introduced a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF TERMINATION PROCEDURES PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED. Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard Ao Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini and Leo Padreddii. Noes, none. Absent, Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Warren Steinkamp. The City Manager next brought up a letter, dated November 26, 1975 from the Local Agency Formation Commission regarding a sphere of influence study for the City and the Westborough County Water District by their agency. Discussion followed during which time it was suggested by Councilman Padreddii that the Westborough County Water District be notified regarding this study. The City Manager requested Mike Wilson of his office to make this notification. There being no objections, Mayor Battaglia ordered the letter accepted and filed. The Assistant to the City Manager reproted on the matter of skate board usage brought up at a previous meeting. He reported that a letter was to be prepared for the Mayor's signature, addressed to the residents of the City and to be distributed through the various P.T.A. groups. 103 SCENIC ROUTES RECESS: RECALL TO ORDER :. ADJOURNMENT%. Councilman Mammini at this time brought up the matter of the scenic routes which had been recommended by the Planning Commission and acted upon by the City Council at an earlier meeting. He brought to Council's attention some of the problems that have arisen stating that the City Council should have the complete input on all subjects such as this prior to taking action to avoid any such problems in the future. Mayor Battaglia recessed the meeting to an Executive Personnel Session at 6:10 PM. The meeting was recalled to order by Mayor Battaglia at 6:58 PM with all Council present. Absent, Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Warren Steinkamp. Mayor Battaglia stated that the purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss a personnel matter. There being nothing further to come before Council, Mayor Battaglia adjourned the meeting at 7:00 PM.
