NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Government Code of the State
of California, that the City Council of South San Francisco will hold a Special
Meeting on Wednesday, October 27, 1976, at 7:00 PM in the Council Conference
Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, California.
Purpose of Meeting: To interview applicants for expiring terms on
Librarg Board and Planning Commission.

City Hall Conference Room.
Mayor Padreddii called the meeting to order at 7:21 PM.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was recited.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, Terr~ J. Mirri
and Leo Padreddii.
Absent:
Councilman Emanuele N. Damonte. Councilman
William A. Borba was excused.
Mayor Padreddii explained to each applicant that there
were expirations on other Boards and Commissions, asking
if they were interested in any of the others.
Those who were interviewed were as follows: Alfred Bertetta,
who applied for both the Planning Commission and the Librar~
Board but who expressed interest in the Planning Commission.
Councilman Damonte appeared present at 7:28 PM and remained
for the duration of the meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:.
Margaret Pierson, who expressed interest in the Librar~
Board only.
Frances Luster, who expressed interest in the Planning
Commission, Library Board, Housing Authority and Parks
and Recreation Commission.
The Mayor, upon conclusion of the interviews, requested
that the record show that Jack Ferro, Wesley Slade and
Elvin Gazzano did not appear for their interviews.
Staff would check as to the reason for non-appearance.
There being nothing further to come before Council, the
Mayor adjourned the meeting.
Time of adjournment was 8:35 PM.
