The meeting was called to order by Mayor Damonte at
5:35 PM.
Present:
Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, William A.
Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri and
Leo Padreddii.
Borba,
Absent: None.
The City Manager stated that the purpose of the meeting
was for an Executive Personnel Session for the purpose
of discussing labor negotiations.
He further commented that prior to the Executive Personnel
Session staff had an information item for Council, after
which staff would like to have Council set meeting
dates for Special Study Meetings to discuss the budget.
The Director of Public Services at this time explained to
Council the break in the sewer line under the highway
which came from the Shaw Road Pump Station. He informed
Council that the Sewage Treatment Plant personnel had
already started remedial action, stating that the sewage
was to be bypassed to the San Mateo Avenue Pump Station.
The Director of Public Services then explained to
Council the course of action proposed for the repair of
the line, as well as the previous repairs made to the
pipe. Lengthy discussion followed between Council and
staff as to the probable cause for the break, as well as
participation in the cost of repairs by the State
Highway Division.
No further action was taken.
Discussion followed between Council and staff relative to
Special Study Meetings for the purpose of discussing the
budge t.

There being no objections, Mayor Damonte scheduled the
Special Study Meetings as follows:
Monday, June 13, 1977 at 5:30 PM
Monday, June 20, 1977 at 5:30 PM.
The meetings were scheduled for the Conference Room
and were to be adjourned at 9:00 PM.
Mayor Damonte then recessed the meeting at 6:10 PM to
an Executive Personnel Session for the purpose of
discussing labor negotiations.
The City Clerk was excused from attending.
The meeting was recalled to order at 7:23 PM with all
Council present.
Mayor Damonte stated that the purpose of the Executive
Personnel Session was to discuss labor negotiations with
no action or roll call vote taken.
Mayor Damonte then adjourned the meeting to Thursday,
June 9, 1977 at 5:30 PM in the Conference Room.
Time of adjournment was 7:25 PM.
