HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 1977-06-29ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO HELD JUNE 29, 1977 TIME: PLACE: CALL TO ORDER: ROLL CALL: APPROVAL OF BILLS JUNE 29, 1977 ITEMS FROM COUNCIL OYSTER POINT MARINA DEVELOPMENT ADJOURNMENT 5:30 PM. Council Conference Room, City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Damonte at 5:37 PM. Present: Councilman William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii. Absent: Councilman Richard A. Battaglia. The list of bills to be paid were distributed to Council. The Finance Director informed Council that the bills were in order to be paid prior to the close of the fiscal year. Councilman Padreddii moved, seconded by Councilman Mirri and regularly carried that the claims be approved for payment. Councilman Borba abstained from voting, stating that he had not had time to review the bills and that the list could contain some firms with whom he did business. Mayor Damonte requested a report from the City Manager for the meeting of Wednesday, July 6, 1977, as to the financial responsibility to the City if the Marina fails or had to be abandoned. The City Manager reported that he would be attending a Harbor District meeting on that night and requested permission to be late in order to await the results of the vote. He stated that he should be returning from the meeting about 9:00 PM. Permission was granted. There being nothing further to come before Council, Councilman Padreddii moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and regularly carried that the meeting be adjourned. Time of adjournment was 5:42 PM.
