ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
HELD AUGUST 15, 1977
7:30 PM.
Council Conference Room, City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Mayor Borba at
7:34 PM.
Vice-Mayor Borba announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding
with Units 3 & 4.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, William A. Borba,
Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii.
Absent: Councilman Emanuele N. Damonte.
Vice-Mayor Borba recessed the meeting at 7:36 PM to an
Executive Personnel Session.
The City Clerk was excused from attending.
The meeting was recalled to order at 7:52 PM with all
Council present. Absent, Mayor Damonte.
At the request of Vice-Mayor Borba the City Clerk read
the resolution in full, after which Councilman Battaglia
introduced a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION APPROVING
AND ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, UNITS 3 AND 4 -
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CITY EMPLOYEES JOINT COUNCIL (MARINE
ENGINEERS BENEFICIAL ASSOCIATION AND AMERICAN FEDERATION
OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, LOCAL 1569,
COUNCIL 57, AFL-CIO).
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, William A. Borba, Terry J. Mirri and
Leo Padreddii. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman
Emanuele N. Damonte.
There being nothing further to come before Council,
Councilman Battaglia moved, seconded by Councilman
Padreddii that the meeting be adjourned.
ADJOURNMENT
The City Manager informed Council that the regular
meeting of August 17, 1977 had been cancelled, and the
next meeting would be held on August 24, 1977.
Motion as made and seconded for adjournment was regularly
carried.
Time of adjournment was 7: 54 PM.

West Orange Avenue Library Auditorium.
A quorum of Council not being present the Regular
Meeting of August 17, 1977 was adjourned by the
City Clerk to Wednesday, August 24, 1977, at 7:30 PM
in the West Orange Avenue Library Auditorium.
Time of adjournment was 7:45 PM.
