Council Conference Room, City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Damonte at
5:12 PM.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, William A. Borba,
Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri and
Leo Padreddii.
Absent: None.
The Director of Public Services stated that Mr. Ralph
Nofield was present in the event that Council had any
questions they wished answered.
The Director of Public Services then explained in detail
his report, informed Council on the work to be done and
the cost involved, and recommended that the work be
performed.
Discussion followed between Council and staff relative
to cost, source of funds and the pending court action.
Councilman Borba asked if he would be in conflict if
he voted on the resolution since he performed work for
Tillo Products. The City Attorney advised that he not
vote.
Councilman Battaglia then introduced a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INTERIM MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE
TILLO COMPOST SITE AT THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO-SAN BRUNO
JOINT SEWER PLANT, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, PREPARED BY
RALPH NOFIELD AND AUTHORIZING ITS IMPLEMENTATION.
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri and
Leo Padreddii. Noes, none. Absent, none. Abstain,
Councilman William A. Borba.

ADJOURNMENT
Council next took up balloting for expiring terms and
vacancies on the Housing Authority, Library Board and
Personnel Board.
The following were elected to the Housing Authority:
Robert J. Battaya
Bruno J. Fanucchi
Robert Reid
The following was elected to the Library Board:
Ruth Boyd
Council then voted on the vacancy on the Personnel Board.
Mayor Dan~nte declared a recess and recall to order at
the following tim~s for the preparation of additional
ballots for the election to the Personnel Board. All
Council remained present.
Recess: 5:45 PM. Recall to order: 5:50 PM.
Recess: 5:55 PM. Recall to order: 6:00 PM.
Recess: 6:03 PM. Recall to order: 6:07 PM.
Council then elected Aldo DeTomasi to the vacancy on the
Personnel Board.
Councilman Padreddii moved, seconded by Councilman
Battaglia and regularly carried that the meeting be
adjourned.
Time of adjournment was 6:13 PM.
