NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Government Code of the State of
California, that the City Council of South San Francisco will hold a Special
Meeting on Friday, December 16, 1977 at 5:00 PM in the Council Conference Room,
City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, California.
The purpose of meeting is to consider the following items:
1. Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Agreement between the
City of South San Francisco and Tillo Products Company.

A Resolution Rescinding Resolution No. 224-77 Entitled, "A
Resolution Authorizing Filing of Written Argument for City
Measure."

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
HELD DECEMBER 16, 1977
TIME:
5:00 PM.
PLACE:
Council Conference Room, City Hall.
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Damonte at 5:05 PM.

Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, William A. Borba,
Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri and
Leo Padreddii.
Absent: Non e.
RESO. NO. 235-77 Councilman Padreddii introduced a resolution entitled: A
RESCINDING RESO 224-77 RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 224-77 ENTITLED, "A
RE FILING OF WRITTEN RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF WRITTEN ARGUMENT FOR

Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte,
Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii. Noes, none. Absent,
none.
Value Giant Building.
Discussion followed concerning certain sections of the
argument, after which Councilman Battaglia introduced
a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING
OF WRITTEN ARGUMENT FOR CITY MEASURE.
The City Clerk requested that Council designate the names
of those persons to file the written argument. After
brief discussion the Councilmember's names were
designated as those persons to file the written argument.
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte,
Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii. Noes, none. Absent,
none.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND TILLO PRODUCTS
COMPANY.

Councilman Borba requested that he be excused from the
discussion since he did work for Tillo Products. Mayor
Damonte excused Councilman Borba from the remainder of
the meeting.
At the request of the City Manager the Director of Public
Services reviewed in detail his Staff Report, dated
December 21, 1977, which was to come before Council at
their next regular meeting.
After discussion between COuncil and staff, the City
Manager stated that no action was to be taken at this time
and that it was for information purposes only.
ADJOURNMENT
There being nothing further to come before Council, Mayor
Damonte adjourned the meeting.
