Purpose of the meeting: To adopt the Resolution in memory of the Honorable Leo J, Ryan, Congressman, deceased. I ~W!!Tiam A. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: ROLL CALL: RESO. NO. 152-78 IN MEMORY OF LEO J. RYAN 4:30 p.m. Council Conference Room, City Hall The meeting was called to order by Mayor Borba at 4:39 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. Present: Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri; Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia Absent: None Mayor Borba stated that the City of South San Francisco would be in a State of Mourning for 30 days and flags would be kept at half-mast. He next asked the City Manager to read the resolution into the records. City Manager Birkelo read the resolution honoring Congressman Leo J, Ryan deceased. Councilman Damonte introduced the resolution and roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilman Ronald G. Acosta, William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri; Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia. Noes, none, Absent, none. At the request of the City Manager, Chief of Police James Datzman explained the logistics for Congressman Ryan's funeral. RECESS RECALL TO ORDER: ADJOURNMENT: 269 Mayor Borba declared a recess to an Executive Session at 4:57 p.m. Mayor Borba recalled the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m,, with all Council present.
