Damonte Roberta Cerri Teglia M I N U T E S CITY COUNCIL Millbrae Library Community Room #1 Library Avenue, Millbrae September 27, 1980 122 A G E N D A Adjourned Regular Meeting CALL TO ORDER (TF-440 Side 2) RECESS: RECALL TO ORDER: (TF-245 - Side 1) City Manager Birkelo stated that the grant for the LEAA ICAP computer expires 9/30/80 and the contract had been awarded to IBM under a GSA discount. It was learned yesterday that the City is not eligible for the GSA discount which makes an additional amount owing of $3,000 and requested adoption of a Resolution modifying the award of bid. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MODIFYING THE AWARD OF BID FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT ADJOURNMENT: RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED, City of South San Francisco ACTION TAKEN AdjoUrned Regular Meeting 9:00 a.m., Council present: Council absent: Teglia, Nicolopulos, Addiego and Acosta Damonte. Mayor Acosta recessed the meeting to the JPAC meeting at 9:0; a.m. (see attached] Mayor Acosta recalled the meeting to order at l:31 p.m., all Council present. M/S Teglia/Addiego - To adopt the Resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 114-80 Vice Mayor Nicolopulos questioned if there would be legal ramifications by not having taken the lowest bid for the computer when it was learned that the City was not eligible for the GSA discount. City Manager Birkelo stated that the matter would be researched and an adjourned meeting would be called for Monday, 9/29/80, if necessary if further action was warranted. Carried by unanimous roll call vote. M/S Teliga/Addiego - To adjourn the meeting to Monday, 9/29/80, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. Carried by unanimous roll call vote.
