Council present: Teglia, Damonte,
Nicolopulos, Addiego
and Acosta.
Council absent: None.
Recited.
Director of Public Services Yee stated
that Council had made an on-site
inspection and had given Staff tentative
approval of the first ten items in
Change Order No. 6. He continued and
described in-depth items 11 thru 16,
the financing source and the estimated
project cost to-date. He stated that
$28,689.00 of Revenue Sharing Funds
would be used for this change order.
A lengthy discussion followed on trim-
ming, painting of stairwells, support
for two garage doors to keep them in
position, substitute wire, millwork,
oak panels, sheet rock, etc.
Mayor Acosta questioned the selection
of oak millwork when it was more
costly than using plywood veneer for
the millwork.
A discussion followed on the funds
spent from the Contingency Fund and the
total cost as projected for the entire
project.
M/S Teglia/Nicolopulos - To approve
all items but item #13 on Change Order
#6.
Carried by unanimous voice vote.

responded that the question had not
been resolved by SAMTRANS.
A discussion followed on the graffito
problem in the bus stop at Camaritas
and the advisability of moving the
bus stop.
Questioned the total cost for the
Municipal Service Building Project,
which includes property acquisition,
being $8,000,00~ and what sum bf
money would be additionally needed
in Revenue Sharing Funds.
Director of Finance Anderson explained
the bond issues, interest and the
monies recovered from a land sale.
Police Chief Datzman stated that
there would be an additional Change
Order forthcoming to cover the drilling
of holes to install the computer.
Asked that consideration be given to
the Fire Department to utilize the
Police Department's IBM computer.
Mayor Acosta adjourned the meeting
to an Executive Session for labor
negotiations at 5:45 p.m.
Mayor Acosta recalled the meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m., all Council
present, no action taken.
