Mayor Teglia gave especial thanks
for the support given from her family:
Fernando, husband; Mark, Mathew and

Mayor Teglia spoke of the three
outstanding snapshot memories in
her life: her father bringing three
flavors of ice cream home for her
fourth birthday party when freezers
did not exist; walking down the
aisle with her father to be married
and seeing the tears of happiness
in her father's eyes; when each of
her son's was placed in her arms
as a brand new life; and tonight's
tremendous honor from her friends
and supporters. She said that
tonight was noteworthy and signified
a new acceptance and recognition

She said she would like to dedicate
this year's mayorship to every woman
who ever volunteered their services

Mayor Pro Tem Addiego stated that
the new Mayor brought a lot of color
to the Council in more ways than one.
He said that he was very proud to
serve under such a gifted and dynamic
mover such as Roberta Teglia. He
stated that the biggest honor democracy
could bestow on someone was to be a
representative, and quite often after
the honor, the individual felt him-
self removed from those who gave him
that duty. He said that was a real
danger everyone felt. He said the
people's support would make this a
very good year for the Mayor and
wished her his best.
