Councilwoman Teglia Arrived:

ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
6:07 p.m. Mayor Addiego presiding.
Council present:
Council absent:
Haffey, Drago,
Nicolopulos, and
Addiego.
Teglia.
Councilman Haffey felt that the Council
should be cautious on this item in view
of the impact to the City, by bringing
the Westborough Water District into the
City. He stated that it should be worded
that the City had no objection to the
recommendation from LAFCO, however, there
should be no mention of any strong
support.
Councilman Nicolopulos stated that the
Westborough residents had paid for that
facility, and appeared to be satisfied
with the Water District as it was.
City Manager Birkelo stated that the
residents paid less for their water and
more for their sewage, than did residents
using City services.
Mayor Addiego stated that he agreed with
Councilman Haffey.
City Manager Birkelo stated that he would
change his report to read, "That the City
had no objection to the recommendation."
CLOSED SESSION
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at
6:15 p.m., to discuss the items listed.
Councilwoman Teglia arrived at 6:20 p.m.

Mayor Addiego recalled the meeting to
order at 11:20 p.m., all Council present,
no action taken.
M/S Teglia/Drago - To adjourn the
meeting to Wednesday, 5/06/87, at 5:15
p.m., at City Hall, for selection of
Planning Commissioners, and a Closed
Session for further deliberations on City
Manager candidates.
Carried by unanimous voice vote.
Time of adjournment was 11:21 p.m.
