NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 54956 of the Government Code of the
State of California, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco will hold a
Special Meeting on Thursday, the 21st day of May, 1987, at 4:30 p.m., in the City Council
Conference Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, California
Purpose of the meeting:
1. Appointment of a new City Manager.
2. Closed Session for the purpose of the discussion of personnel matters, labor
relations, property negotiations and litigation.

Addiego.
CLOSED SESSION
City Manager requested the Council hold
a Closed Session on a personnel matter
before the vote on a new City Manager.
Council adjourned to a Closed Session at
4:40 p.m., to discuss a personnel matter.
Mayor Pro Tem Drago recalled the meeting
to order at 4:53 p.m., all Council pre-
sent, no action taken.
M/S Nicolopulos/Haffey - To adopt the
Resolution appointing Mark Lewis as City
Manager, effective 6/1/87, at the salary
control point, with a car allowance of
