2. Roll Call. PRESENT: Councilmembers Matsumoto,
Gupta, and Normandy, Vice
Mayor Addiego and Mayor
Garbarino.
ABSENT: None.
3. Public Comments.
None.
4. Agenda Review.
No Changes.
5. Approval of Resolution No. 135-2015 by the Youth Leadership Institute
requesting that the Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the
United States Congress, and the California State Legislature take action to protect
consumers from unfair payday lending practices. (Tony Rozzi, Senior Planner).
City Manager Futrell explained staff researched this Resolution and found it worthy of
recommending. A representative from the Youth Leadership Institute encouraged Council to approve
the Resolution.
Motion—Councilman Gupta/Second—Councilwoman Normandy: to approve Resolution No. 135-
2015. Unanimously approved by roll call vote.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, Mayor Garbarino adjourned the meeting at 6:20 P.M.
