Garbarino and Matsumoto, Vice

Addiego.

4. Public Comments.
None.
5. Community Information Session:
a. San Mateo County government is asking the City of South San
Francisco, and all cities in the County, to join in a partnership to
purchase electricity directly from suppliers instead of PG&E. The new
partnership is called Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE).
Seth Baruch, the San Mateo County representative for Peninsula Clean Energy presented details of
the proposed program, which would be a partnership that would purchase electricity directly from
suppliers instead of PG&E. PG&E would continue to provide delivery of the electricity.
Residents voiced their opinions and concerns regarding the program. Questions were also fielded by
County and City staff.
ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, Mayor Addiego adjourned the meeting at 8:31 P.M.
