Penna MINUTES Surplus Property Authority Municipal Services Building Community Room December 17, 1997 SPECIAL MEETING SURPLUS PROPERTY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECEMBER 17, 1997 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant Resolution of the City of South San Francisco, the Surplus Property Authority of the City of South San Francisco will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, the 17th day of December 1997, at 6:55 p.m. in the Municipal Services Building, Community Room, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California. Purpose of the meeting: Call to order. Motion to approve Minutes of the Special Meeting of 12/10/97. Motion to approve conveyance of the Surplus Property Authority owned Parcel APN No. 015-010-160 (former GSA site) to the Redevelopment Agency and to direct staff to prepare and record the conveyance documents, including the certificate of acceptance. 4. None. M/S Fernekes/Datzman - To approve the Minutes of the Special Meeting of 12/10/97. 12/17/97 Page 1 AGENDA ACTION TAKEN 2. Motion - Continued. Motion to approve conveyance of the Surplus Prop- erty Authority owned Parcel APN No. 015-010-160 (former GSA site) to the Redevelopment Agency and to direct staff' to prepare and record the conveyance documents, including the certificate of acceptance. ADJOURNMENT: Carried by unanimous voice vote. Counsel Mattas related: the three Agencies will be acting on the Shearwater property as a policy deci- sion; the Agency is to authorize the staff to proceed with the conveyance of the former GSA site from the Surplus Property Authority to the Redevelop- ment Agency and sell it to Bay West for full market dollars; the applicant went into a contract with Auto Nation in early January and they requested staff to go ahead with the conveyance with $1.2 million for purchase of the property. Boardmember Datzman asked if the City Manager supports the documentation. City Manger Wilson stated yes, with one proviso, when it talks about the reimbursement of the Gen- eral Fund it may come from tax increments or Oys- ter Point fees. M/S Matsumoto/Datzman - To approve conveyance of the Surplus Property Authority owned Parcel APN No. 015-010-160 (former GSA site) to the Redevelopment Agency and to direct staff to prepare and record the conveyance documents, including the certificate of acceptance.
