Call to Order. Time: 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call. Present: Councilmembers Addiego, Garbarino
and Matsumoto,Vice Mayor Normandy and
Mayor Gupta.
Agenda Review.
City Manager Futrell addressed the Council there have been three applicants that have withdrawn their
application for consideration. Acting City Clerk Rodriguez named the following withdrawn applicants.
Anthony Estrada Jr., Daniel Patrick Campbell and Florida Ventura.
Public Comments.
None.
1. Report regarding Board and Commission interviews and appointments for Conference Center
Authority,Housing Authority,Library Board,San Mateo County Flood Control District,Measure W
Citizens' Oversight Committee and Parking Place Commission. (Gabriel Rodriguez, Acting City
Clerk).
The City Council interviewed applicants for the Conference Center Authority,Housing Authority,Library
Board, San Mateo County Flood Control District, Measure W Citizens' Oversight Committee and
Parking Place Commission.
After discussion the following votes were taken for the one(1)Hotelier seat on the Conference Center
Authority,two (2)Business/Resident seats on the Conference Center Authority,two(2)Commissioner
seats on the Housing Authority, one (1) Tenant seat on the Housing Authority, two (2) seats on the
Library Board,one(1)seat on the San Mateo County Flood Control District,one(1)seat on the Measure
W Citizens' Oversight Committee and one(1) seat on the Parking Place Commission.
The following votes were taken for the Conference Center Authority Hotelier Seat:

Motion—Council Member Garbarino/Second Council Member Addiego to appoint Jeffrey MacDonald to
serve on the Conference Center Authority Hotelier seat.The motion was unanimously approved by a roll
call vote.

Motion to appoint Anthony Clifford and BJ Patel to serve on the Conference Center Authority
Business/Resident seat.
Motion to appoint Steven F. Pitocchi and Demetria Eileen Vong-Spillan to serve on the Housing
Authority Commissioner seat.
Motion to appoint Melinda S. Murillo to serve on the Housing Authority Tenant seat.
Motion to appoint Patricia FitzPatrick and Robert Turnberg to serve on the Library Board seat.
Motion to appoint Richard Irli to serve on the San Mateo County Flood Control District seat.
Motion to appoint William Martin Romero to serve on the Measure W Citizens' Oversight Committee
seat.
Motion to appoint Herman Monzon to serve on the Parking Place Commission seat.
Motion—Vice Mayor Normandy/Second Council Member Garbarino to appoint selected applicants to
serve on their respective committees. The motion was approved by the following roll call vote:
Ayes: 4—Councilmembers Addiego and Garbarino,Vice Mayor Normandy and Mayor Gupta.
Abstain: 1 —Councilmember Matsumoto.
Adjournment.
Being no further business, Mayor Gupta adjourned the meeting at 10:00 p.m.
