Call to Order 6:09 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present: (Cassette Tape No. 1) Councilmembers Fernekes, Garbarino and Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Green and Mayor Matsumoto Absent: None Staff present: City Manager Nagel and City Attorney Mattas Public Comments None. Study Session: Closed Session: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, Evaluation of City Manager Time entered into Closed Session: Time reconvened into Open Session: Report from Closed Session: 6:10 p.m. 6:58 p.m. all Councilmembers present Direction given/no action taken Consideration of City Council Goals Councilmembers discussed and concurred to set the following goals for the City during the next twelve-month period: · Complete initial renovation of 480 North Canal and relocation of Central Fire · Commence construction of the SSF/BART linear park through the utilization of grant funds and/or developer fees · Pursue acquisition of the SF-PUC and 80 Chestnut Avenue properties through the Redevelopment Agency · Complete a design for the E1 Camino Real Beautification Project · Initiate a dialogue with the major retail producers · Complete the merger of the redevelopment areas · Develop a strategy for the marketing properties east of Highway 101 · Review terms of agreement with airport 6.
